Lugano
Lugano is the largest city in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland is the third. The most important financial center and a conference center and business banking there are in the city center. But we also find parks and gardens, villas and sacred buildings. With Mediterranean flair, Lugano offers all the advantages of a world-class city, with the charm of a small town.
The pedestrianized old town, numerous buildings in Italianate Lombardy style, the exclusive museums, the mountains, the lake and a full calendar of events all invite visitors to enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy "dolce far niente". Thanks to its mild climate, Lugano is a popular tourist destination in the spring when the camellias bloom.
